Flavor profile
Ripe peach, apricot, and candied lemon meet herbs, wet slate, and fine smokiness. On the palate, powerful and precise at the same time, with dense fruit, salty minerality, and a long, complex finish. A Riesling with depth, tension, and impressive structure.
Why we selected it
Berg shows the serious side of the Mosel. The grapes come from the steepest and oldest slate sites of the winery and bring exactly the concentration and minerality for which this region is known worldwide. Despite its complexity, the wine remains elegant and invigorating – a Riesling that reveals more with each glass.
Perfect for
Special dinners, long evenings with wine lovers, or moments when the wine deserves as much attention as the food. A bottle that evolves in the glass over hours.
Food recommendation
Pairs excellently with roasted turbot, lobster, veal, poultry with creamy sauces, mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheese. Also great with Asian cuisine with fine spices.
