Taste profile
Ripe citrus fruits, white peach, and apricot meet floral notes, Mediterranean herbs, and a distinctive minerality. On the palate, concentrated and precise, with vibrant acidity, fine salinity, and exceptional length. Powerful and elegant at the same time, with impressive depth and complexity.
Why we selected it
Monticara is one of the most impressive white wines from Spain. Victoria Ordóñez has made it her mission to revive the historic mountain vineyards of Málaga and redefine the potential of the Pedro Ximénez grape. The result is a wine with great personality that shows Andalusia can do much more than sweet wines.
Perfect for
Special occasions, sophisticated dinners, or moments when the wine can take center stage. A bottle for lovers of great white wines with character and origin.
Food recommendation
Pairs excellently with lobster, turbot, sea bass, veal, poultry with creamy sauces, or aged hard cheese. Also great with upscale Mediterranean cuisine and fine fish dishes.
