DESCRIPTION

Grape variety:
Riesling from Weingut Benzinger, grown on calcareous marl soils of the Palatinate.
This wine combines the typical clarity and freshness of Riesling with the fine spice and mineral depth that calcareous soils bring. Expressive, precise and with a lot of origin in the glass.

Colour:
Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, clear and lively.

Taste:
The nose reveals citrus fruits, green apple and white peach, accompanied by floral nuances, some herbal spice and a fine mineral note.
On the palate, juicy, linear and fresh, with animating acidity, clear fruit and a salty-mineral pull on the finish. The calcareous marl gives the wine tension, structure and elegance, while the Riesling remains typically precise and enjoyable to drink.

Suitability:
An excellent companion to seafood, fish, oysters, Asian cuisine, white meat or fresh summer salads.
Also a very precise, lively wine on its own for those who appreciate fresh and mineral white wines.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C

Contains sulfites, Alc.
