Grape variety:
Riesling from Lesom.
The "Fluss" brings the cooler, more flowing, and more accessible side of the Mosel to the glass. Compared to the tighter, stonier interpretations, this Riesling is a bit more open and juicier, yet it clearly retains its origins: precise fruit, fine minerality, and a lively, natural tension. A wine that beautifully combines lightness and depth.
Colour:
Light straw yellow with slightly greenish reflections, lively and clear in the glass.
Taste:
On the nose lemon, green apple, and white peach, along with fine notes of white blossoms, fresh herbs, and wet stone.
On the palate juicy, straightforward, and animating, with very clear fruit, lively acidity, and a mineral-fresh pull that is typical of the Mosel. The wine appears light-footed and precise without being thin, and ends in a cool, salty, very refreshing finish.
Pairing:
An excellent accompaniment to fish, oysters, ceviche, sushi, Asian cuisine, fresh summer salads, or light vegetable dishes.
Also a very strong wine on its own for those who appreciate fresh, elegant, and mineral Rieslings with natural expression.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
